Welcome to Doc Vauxhall UK, if you are a new visitor or an established customer, please take a second to read our About Us page.
OUR 3 CORE PRINCIPALS
1. WE NEVER WANT TO DROPSHIP FROM AN ANONYMOUS WAREHOUSE OR FACTORY IN ANOTHER PART OF THE WORLD. EVER.
It never will be, we want to assure our products are the best, and we want to keep it that way, by being able to quality test and confirm every item we sell. This means that wherever our products are manufactured, they pass through our HQ or are despatched from the UK importer, to ensure the quality is consistent and that all goods are suitable for sale from the UK. We also want to ensure all our EU and UK customers do not have to pay import duties, tax or shipping surcharges (this is something to bear in mind when comparing prices on comparable items like our dAvINCi brake kits, if you import similar kits from other countries, you will be liable for relevant tax, import duties and handling/shipping costs). By despatching from the UK we are making sure every item we sell passes through proper quality control, it is GUARANTEED properlyl.
2. WE STAND BY OUR PRODUCTS AND DO NOT SELL TO OTHER COMPANIES
As true Vauxhall/Opel enthusiasts and engineers, many of our products are exclusive to us, either designed and made in-house in the UK, or through partnership with our small, very trusted, team of suppliers and manufacturers throughout the world. For example, our LED products ARE made in China, as are everyone else's, as Cree have their main factory in China. Our brakes kits are also manufactured abroad, but the company we use to design & make the kits is headed up by a European team of qualified engineers and designers, which is why we can offer such high quality and diversity at great prices. We may not be able to knock on the door of our manufacturers, but we can phone the factory and they phone or email us to discuss changes or improvements to the products that are made for us. That's how we do our exclusive products, if we don't make them in-house, we can actually tell you the name of the person or company who did. All our exclusive range has been through a very close knit relationship with our manufacturing and supply team, if you see another product that looks like ours IT IS A COPY, simple as!
3. WE HAVE NO INTENTION TO MOVE AWAY FROM OUR CORE BRANDS
This business has grown from our passion, rather than be an "all markets fat pay cheque internet business", we are still specialised after almost 10 years in business. Although everyone needs to make a living, we like the fact that our customers choose to come back to us time and time again, because of our service and quality and commitment to provide the best products in the marketplace. , hence why we're called Doc Vauxhall, we don't get any hits from the Ford or Subaru websites.
We deal entirely with Vauxhall Opel (GM Europe) vehicles from day to day and therefore have in depth knowledge about the vehicles and applications. The company is a registered Independent Garage with Vauxhall UK and we have full access to the GME Infotech web server, so in effect we are an independent main dealer without the pushy sales blokes!
If we sell something on the webstore, it is because we have tested and approved a product to be the best for the application, NO OTHER REASON. You'll find that many so-called specialist Vauxhall or Opel companies online are in fact just looking to reel in a few quid more. When you look on their websites they have a tiny little section for our brand and the rest is to reel in the rest of the car brands. They'll often jump into forums and club websites to promote their products, while churning out other identities to reel in customers from other clubs and forums. We don't want to do that, the website name is a hint! We're just wanting to share our products with fellow enthusiasts.
There are companies and retailers that sell similar looking products at cheaper prices, we aim to be competitive, but we never compromise on QUALITY. If you can find something cheaper, by all means drop us a message, but be aware that in 99% of cases, the cheaper alternative is usually an inferior product.
The business started as a pure hobby by enthusiasts, which grew toward a mobile mechanic and auto electrician service, diversifying into engine and chassis tuning & in depth diagnostic work, and now into an online retail business, but we are never going to forget where we came from in the first place . . .
"If it's not good enough to go on our own cars, then we're not going to sell it to a customer, a good customer is a friend, everybody likes making friends . . "
